Each month, MCC sends a briefing document to legislators and others to inform them of key initiatives related to our mission and the many ways we help students achieve their goals. Often, these briefs provide our external stakeholders with a sense of how MCC is responding to the national higher education agenda.
The September 2014 brief (attached) focuses on several ways MCC helps improve student achievement in high school and college and strengthen the education pipeline. The brief also highlights our partnerships aimed at ensuring that learners complete high school prepared for college.
We hope that you will find this information helpful in your own work at MCC and in your conversations about the college in the community.
