New Veteran Certification Process

Calling all Veterans, Active/Reserve/Guard and Veteran Dependents!

New Updates: Certification Request -If you are using VA Education Benefits (Chapter 30, 35, 33, 31, or 1606) there is a new process for requesting certification. Certification requests are now a dynamic form found on the MCC website online. Please request your intersession and spring semester certifications by filling out the VA Education Benefits Certification Request Form found on the MCC Veterans webpage.

Don't Wait to register: Certification -The VA is sunsetting the VAONCE portal for certifications on 1/13/23 and has not given a solid date for when its replacement will go live. We cannot promise certifications requested after the first week of January will be processed and paid out in a timely basis. Please register for your classes as soon as possible and make the requests for certification.

TA/RIRP/MYCAA: Due Dates are approaching -If you are using RIRP, please be aware that the deadline to submit your DMNA/MOU's is December 15th! Book your appointment with Dave Oliver, Eric Wheeler or Lori Bartkovich to get them submitted!

  • If you are using FTA, please make your requests 2 weeks prior to term (to ensure the school has proper time to submit paperwork to DOD).
  • MYCAA-Requests for ETP's needed to be submitted 3 weeks prior to term, (to ensure the school has time to submit proper paperwork to students' MYCAA counselor for review.
