The MCC Libraries has recently added a college-wide, 24/7, online subscription to Education Week. Available to faculty, staff and students alike, the online version offers a wide variety of enhanced features:
The latest issue of Education Week, posted several days in advance of the cover date + searchable archives
E-newsletters that bring the latest news directly to your email inbox
Special reports and topical coverage; webinars and expert chat events
20+ blogs on a variety of education topics
State and district level data
While Education Week may particularly interest students, faculty, and staff in MCC’s teacher education programs, it also appeals to a broader audience. Last week’s issue, for example, included reports about college and career readiness among first-generation college students and about evaluation of Minnesota’s College Possible student mentoring program, as well as an article about how child-care costs are rising faster than family income in the US.
On-campus, access Education Week at https://www.edweek.org. Off-campus, to view ALL the premium content, use the MCC Libraries’ webpage link - https://services.trueserials.com/CRDB/MONROECC/resource/1726/goto, and log into the MCC EZProxy server with your MCC email username and password. Enjoy!
