On Friday, March 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in High Falls A & B the Criminal Justice Club will be hosting a major event focusing on Community-Police relationships and the 6 Pillars of future policing. This event is building off the successful forums the Criminal Justice Club hosted in conjunction with the Irondequoit and Rochester police departments in December. Representatives from multiple law enforcement agencies along with community activists from the UCLM (United Christian Leadership Ministry) will be working together to facilitate conversations about improving police-community relations. After the event there will be recruitment tables available for students who are interested in seeking information about a career in Law Enforcement We urge all students who are interested in contributing their thoughts and ideas to this vital conversation attend this event.
