I am pleased to announce that Dr. Holly Wheeler was approved by the MCC Board of Trustees to an appointment as Interim Assistant to the Provost and Vice President, Academic Services.
Dr. Wheeler has been a member of MCC’s faculty in the English/Philosophy Department since 1999. She has also served the College as Acting Director of Curriculum and as the Interim Director of Global Education and International Services. She has been an active leader in the STARS (Support for Transitioning And Returning Service members) program and the Faculty Senate and was recognized in 2013 with the Chancellor’s Award for Faculty Service.
In her new role, Dr. Wheeler serves as the Provost’s liaison to the Faculty Senate, coordinates the Academic Grievance process, and supports Academic Chair administrative functions. We are excited to have such an experienced and committed faculty member join our staff.
