Looking for Commencement Stories


You know them. They're in your classes. MCC has a diverse population of students. But who among them has a unique, compelling story to tell?

Each year the MCC College and Community Relations team asks for your help in identifying interesting student stories for the local media to cover in order to celebrate  the accomplishments of students at commencement. In the past, media have covered  a graduate with a long family tradition of attending MCC, a Lost Boy from Sudan,  a career-changer, a master's degreed student who pursued an associate's, and other unique graduates.

If you would like to suggest a student, please contact your College and Community Relations representative or send an e-mail including the  student's name and something about what makes his/her story newsworthy to:
