MCC faculty members Bill Drumright, Beth Laidlaw, Liz Pierce, Toni Robbins and John Stanton, joined Ellen Mancuso to rally in Albany on Saturday, May 3, to protest the governor’s budget on education. Traveling with faculty from Brockport, Buffalo and Geneseo, MCC representatives gathered at the Empire State Plaza with teachers, administrators, students and parents to build support for budget passed by the legislature last week. The budget, which restored $400 million to higher education, is expected to be vetoed by the governor in the next seven days.
