Teaching & Creativity Center Requests Faculty Input for Our 2014-15 Programming

The Teaching & Creativity Center’s theme for 2014-15 is Challenge Yourself, Challenge Your Students. We hope to encourage you to challenge yourself to try something new in your classroom or related to your teaching.  Your goal could be adapting something that you learned at a conference, redesigning that lesson that students never seem to understand, or implementing an innovative technique.  If you have something in mind, great.  If not, we can help!

As part of our Challenge Yourself, Challenge Your Students theme, our programs for the 2014-2015 academic year will focus on helping you learn about and effectively implement a new technique or approach in your classroom.  Our programs will include conversations, workshops, conferences, Faculty Inquiry Groups, reading groups, Critical Friends Groups, and one-on-one consultations. With new challenges, we re-energize ourselves, inspire our students, and reinvigorate our teaching.

To help us plan, we would love to have your feedback on possible topics!  Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey by April 29:
