Red, White and Blue Carnival

With the impending national election and need to register students to vote, this year’s Fall Festival and Homecoming will focus on voter registration. To give the theme some color, students on the Campus Activities Board have decided on a red, white and blue carnival.

Festivities during the Fall Festival – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, in front of Buildings 5 and 6 on the Brighton Campus – will include a mock election with a voting booth and registration tables, food, floats, a bucking bronco bull and the Niche Band.

Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 25, will feature women’s soccer, volleyball and baseball at 1 p.m. and men’s soccer at 3 p.m. Alumni activities include the celebration of the first graduating class from the original Alexander Street Campus. The event is open to all MCC students, faculty and staff from all four campuses: Brighton, Damon, Applied Technologies and the Public Safety Training Facility.
