Christal Knight, Member of Class of 2022, to Deliver Remarks at Commencement

I am delighted to announce that Christal Knight, a member of the MCC Class of 2022, will deliver an address to fellow graduating students and guests at MCC's Commencement on Thursday, June 2, at 7:00 p.m. at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial.

This is the second year an MCC student speaker has been selected for this distinguished honor.

Born and raised in Rochester, Ms. Knight is a graduate from the Rochester City School District. During her journey at MCC, she has been active in student life, serving as a member of the Sustainability Club and the senator of Diversity and Inclusion in the Student Government Association.

She will be awarded an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences-general studies and plans to continue her education in the fall at University of Massachusetts Amherst in pursuit of an advanced degree in sustainable community development.

Ms. Knight has a passion for our community, education, and the arts. She hopes to return to Rochester and make a difference within the school system and in our community. She enjoys dancing, roller skating, reading, photography, and spending time with loved ones.

MCC celebrates the success of the Class of 2022 and looks forward to the inspiring words of Christal Knight, our featured Commencement student speaker.
