Reorganization of Career and Veteran Services
The Student Services and Economic Development and Innovative Workforce Services Divisions have completed the college's established process for divisional reorganization. On October 1, the vice presidents from the two divisions submitted a joint proposal to the Faculty Senate Chair, Dr. Nayda Pares-Kane, to move the Career Services Office from Student Services to EDIWS. In addition, the proposal recommended that Veteran Services act as a stand-alone office, reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Student Services. After completing the formal process with SCAA and reviewing input from open forums, MCC has moved forward with the move of Career Services to EDIWS and the creation of a stand-alone Veteran Services Office, effective December 6. Both offices will remain in their current locations.
We appreciate all of the feedback that was received from the college community.
