Directions:

1.
Use your MCC Degree Works worksheet to choose courses to take at MCC. Note that this 2+2 Transfer Pathway Advising Guide directly follows the MCC Degree Works worksheet; no modifications or substitutions are needed.

Students are strongly advised to graduate from MCC before transferring as SUNY Geneseo waives their local general education course requirements for students transferring with an AS or AA degree. Prospective MCC students: see the
MCC Mathematics A.S. degree outline under Program Details.

2.
Meet with your MCC advisor and
SUNY Geneseo staff to plan your transfer. Apply to Geneseo the semester before you complete your degree at MCC.

Students transferring into a major in Mathematics at Geneseo will earn 18 credits toward the Geneseo major and transfer 60 credits toward the 120 needed for a bachelor's degree. For a BA in Math students will take an additional 16 credits, for a BS in Applied Math students will take an additional 34 credits, for a BS in Math students will take an additional 28 credits to complete their major.
