Complementary, Alternative and Integrative Approaches to Health and Wellness

This course provides an exploration and in depth study into the field of integrative health care and the most commonly used techniques and therapies within the domain of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) as catagorized by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM). Learners will gain a sound knowledge base in the therapies/techniques and the ability to identify and use resources that provide accurate and reliable research-based information in order to make informed decisions regarding use of CAM therapies/techniques in addition to traditional western health care measures in their pursuit of health and wellness.
