ASL-280

Literary and Artistic Expression of Deafhood

The idea for this course was inspired by the increase in interest in Deaf Culture Literary and Artistic Expressions (Deaf Visual Art, ASL Literature, Deaf Theatre, Deaf Cinema) within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. This course would be the first time that MCC would be offering this topic within the ASL discipline. Assessment of the success of the course will be determined by the enrollment numbers and by student performance and opinions of the course, along with the instructor's review of the course offering. Three credits.
