MTH 182 - Statistics Topics for the Social Sciences

1 Credit

This course is an extension of MTH 160 (Statistics I) to address topics needed for the analysis of data collected in the behavioral and social sciences. Topics include power calculations, effect size calculations, two-sample analyses, the chi-square test of independence, the binomial test, and testing the significance of a correlation. Students who have completed MTH 161 cannot receive additional credit for this course. One credit hour.

Prerequisite: MTH 160 with a grade of C or higher.
