ATP 180 - Alternative Fuels

3 Credits

This course will provide an overview of alternative fuels and vehicle propulsion systems that are currently available or under development. The course will consider existing fossil-fuels, and examine the viability and infrastructure/delivery considerations of ethanol, biodiesel, electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and hybrid technologies. This course is designed to keep the student informed with state of the art developments in the field. Three class hours.
