ENG 282 - Creative Nonfiction

3 Credits

This course is designed to provide an opportunity for students to explore and experiment with the genre of creative nonfiction. Students will examine memoir, autobiography, journalism, scholarship, observation, mediation/creative imaginations, and other forms of nonfiction writing. Readings will strengthen critical thinking skills and serve as models for writing. Students will write their own works of creative nonfiction and will critique each other's work in a workshop-style format.

Prerequisite(s): Strongly recommend ENG 101 and ENG 102.
