ENG 283 - Reading Graphic Literature

3 Credits

This is a literature course that examines the theories of, approaches to, and topics pertaining to graphic literature that create or react to the conditions for social change. Examination of these texts will be primarily through gaining understanding of their narrative structure. Students will respond critically to readings of different historical and cultural contexts through class discussion and written work. These contexts may include different world views, politics, classes, ethnicity, races, genders, and sexual orientations.
