Quotes That Inspire
Fall 2020 is a semester for the record books. We are balancing remote and essential face-to-face learning. On-campus protocols are continually evolving as we continue to learn ever more about COVID-19. We are all learning how to keep engaged in the virtual environment. All of which makes this quote from Head Custodian Geoff Goodrell from Building Services resonate this week:
"When you come to a fork in the road, TAKE IT." - Yogi Berra, Baseball Hall of Fame player, coach, and manager
Geoff shared, he first saw this favorite quote "back when I was in the fifth grade that just stuck with me all through life. Twenty-eight years later and I still say it from time to time.
"I love the simplicity of it. We all have forks. We all have to choose a path when we get to that fork. Whichever path you chose, OWN IT!"
Terrific advice for a semester when every day can feel like a new fork in the road. Thank you, Geoff, your team and our colleagues for keeping our campuses clean and safe.
Enjoy your weekend.
