Last Chance to Pre-register Online for MCC's 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships

On Saturday, September 30, you, your friends and families are invited to participate in MCC’s 17th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships--you may be the lucky winner of an MCC scholarship or a gift basket! The weather is looking to be beautiful!

This is your last chance to pre-register. Special student pricing is $10. The 5K online registration will close TONIGHT at 11:59 pm.

MCC student participants currently enrolled in the fall semester will be eligible to enter their names in a scholarship drawing—nine student names will be drawn to receive MCC scholarship awards totaling $5,000 and ten lucky students will receive $100 MCC Bookstore gift cards! We also have several gift baskets and gift certificates that will be awarded in a random drawing!

Hosted by the MCC Foundation, walk-ins are welcome on Saturday, September 30, on the Brighton Campus with music, Zumba warm-up, photo area, and commemorative T-shirt. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. in parking lot G. The 3.1 mile walk/run will start at 10 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to first-place 5K finishers.

Fall Fest is hosted by Campus Events and Student Life and will be providing everyone with various activities including large-scale inflatables, henna tattoo artists, custom street sign stations, face painting, and more!

Following the race, join us in the gym for the tailgate party where lunch will be served. The scholarship drawing and awards ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m.
