MCC Listening Session on Long Guns for Public Safety Peace Officers: Monday, November 6

As part of MCC’s commitment to fostering open communication and ensuring the safety and well-being of our campus community, all members of the MCC community are invited to participate in a Listening Session facilitated by Dr. Burt-Nanna on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 12:00pm to 12:45pm. All are encouraged to join us in person on our Brighton campus in Monroe A or virtually using the Zoom link below.

  • Date: Monday, November 6, 2023
  • Time: 12pm
  • Location: Hybrid: Monroe A/Zoom

The purpose of this session is to provide an opportunity for all members of our community to express their thoughts, concerns, and perspectives on the issue of long-gun rifle use at MCC.  Your input is invaluable as we strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. No decisions have been made regarding the use of long-gun rifles on campus. Your safety and opinions matter to us, and we look forward to your participation in this important discussion. Together As One, we can ensure that MCC is a campus where everyone feels secure and heard.

Virtual login information is included below. We hope you can join us for this important discussion.
