American Foundation of Suicide Prevention at Brighton Campus Today

A representative from the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will be on the Brighton Campus Terrace today from 11:00am to 1:00pm to talk to students about Suicide Awareness and Prevention. AFSP’s mission is the help save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. They create a culture that is smart about mental health by engaging in funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention and supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide. We encourage all students to stop by their table to learn more about the resources they offer and ways to help with suicide prevention and spreading awareness. Please consider helping us spread the word!
