Joann Santos Retirement Celebration

After 30 years of dedicated service to MCC, Joann officially retired on August 31st of this year. Joann started her career part-time working in the financial aid office and then became a full-time Advisor at the Damon City Campus, and then the Director and Co-PI for CSTEP, STEP, ULSAMP, and Bridges programs. Joann served in numerous committees at MCC and representative to NYSED, amoung other statewide committees. 

Joann's legacy is the hundreds of students she positively impacted through these programs, the partnerships she's developed, and building successful programs. Her grant-writing successes has grown the programs to increase staffing and opportunities for students. She has been, and continues to be a true champion for students, their families, stakeholders, and staff. 

A retirement celebration will be held on Friday, September 29, beginning at 4:30 pm at Eastbrooke Lane Club House at 477 Eastbrooke Lane, 14618. It is about 6 minutes from the MCC Brighton Campus. Please plan to stop by and enjoy some food and cake and wish Joann the very best.
