Topic: “How Do We Support Students In the Sandwich Generation?”

Students in the Sandwich Generation are juggling academic pursuits while simultaneously being responsible for raising their children and caring for their aging parents. In essence, they are “sandwiched” between two generations. These students face unique challenges in navigating the complex demands of coursework, parenting responsibilities, and caregiving duties. Recognizing and understanding the needs of these students is crucial for providing appropriate support at MCC.
