Student Resource Committee

Vision2027 sets a priority to be a student-centered college, with specific goals to provide programs and services that reduce barriers impacting student success and to help students grow both personally and academically.

Recognizing that financial challenges represent the biggest reason that students do not continue their studies at MCC, the Resource Committee meets regularly to collaborate and help identify resources that are available to students. The Resource Committee recently completed basic needs supports mapping, developed subcommittees, and Dr. Amy Greer created a new Resources Guide for students that organizes information about academic, financial, food, housing, career, health & wellness, childcare, and transportation resources in one guide to help facilitate awareness and access to resources. The Resources Guide is available to students, faculty, and staff in the Campus Resources tile of the myMCC portal.
