Finalizing Grades in Brightspace

Welcome to the last day of the 5 days of Brightspace gradebook! We will focus our topics today on finalizing your grades, grade schemes, applying an adjusted grade, and printing out your gradebook as an Excel spreadsheet. Make sure your Brightspace gradebook is balanced and matches your grading policies in your Course Information Sheet. Watch our 5 Days of Gradebook: Day 5 (Video) for more details. 

If you need additional help with your Brightspace Gradebook, please reach out to the Virtual Campus Team during drop-in hours via Zoom, any of the upcoming training sessions, or make an individual appointment for gradebook on December 20th.  

Our schedule for today and next week is as follows: 

  • 12/15 - Friday (Zoom): 10 am to noon
  • 12/18 - Monday (Zoom): 10 am to noon, No afternoon support
    •  Special Gradebook Training at 3:15 pm in our Zoom Room!
  • 12/19 -Tuesday (Zoom): 10 am to noon, 1 to 3pm
    • Special in-person drop-in from 11 am to 1 pm in the Virtual Campus Training Room, 3-122 (Brighton Campus)
  • 12/20 - Wednesday (Zoom or In-person): By appointment only for gradebook
  • 12/21 - Thursday (Zoom): 10am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
    • Special Copy Content Training at 3:15 pm in our Zoom Room!
  • 12/22 - Friday: 10am to noon

Our office is closed during Winter Break from December 23, 2023 through January 1, 2024! We will re-open on January 2nd for Zoom support. Please call the SUNY Help Desk for support during the break week: 1-844-673-6786 for Brightspace support.
