Yolanda Johnson named President of American Association for Women in Community Colleges-MCC Chapter

Please join us in congratulating and offering our best wishes for Yolanda Johnson, Campus Events manager, as she embarks on her two-year term as president for the American Association for Women in Community Colleges-MCC Chapter (AAWCC).  As part of the national organization that was established in 1973 , MCC- AAWCC chapter which was established in 1993 has been dedicated to providing professional development opportunities as well as addressing issues of special interest to women.  

For the past term Yolanda has served as President –Elect but in her role as AAWCC-MCC Chapter President, Yolanda will be leading AAWCC as they continue to provide a diverse array of programming and networking opportunities for women in the College.

The MCC AAWCC chapter’s membership over years have ranged from 50 to over 100 representing varying departments, offices and students within institution.  If you are interested in joining this wonderful organization, please visit MCC's AAWCC webpage (sites.monroecc.edu/aawcc/membership) for more details.
