Naloxone (Narcan) Boxes at MCC

In an effort to proactively protect the campus community, the Public Safety Depart partnering with Monroe County, has installed Naloxone (Narcan) boxes on all of the MCC campuses. These Naloxone boxes hold free, readily available intranasal (sprayed through the nose) Naloxone (Narcan), an emergency intervention tool with the ability to reverse an opioid overdose. Each box contains multiple, prepackaged single doses of naloxone. The Naloxone box locations are:

NARCAN Box Locations:

8 NARCAN boxes in our Residence Halls on the MCC Brighton Campus in the following locations:

  • Canal Hall: 1 box in the Resident Director’s Office and 1 box in the Lobby/Common Area of the Hall.
  • Pioneer Hall: 1 box in the Resident Director’s Office and 1 box in the Lobby/Common Area of the Hall.
  • Alexander Hall: 1 box in the Resident Director’s Office and 1 box in the Lobby/Common Area of the Hall.
  • Tribune Hall: 1 box in the Resident Director’s Office and 1 box in the Lobby/Common Area of the Hall.

7 NARCAN Boxes at the Downtown Campus in the following locations:

  • All 7 floors outside adjacent to the elevators

2 NARCAN Boxes at the ATC Campus in the following locations:

  • Main Entrance
  • Main Hallway adjacent to the vending/break area

12 NARCAN Boxes at the Brighton Campus in the following locations:

  • North Atrium, Building 12
  • 1st floor elevator, Building 5
  • 1st floor elevator, Building 6
  • Main entrance, 2nd floor, Building 1
  • 1st floor elevator, Building 8
  • 1st floor elevator, Wolk Building
  • 1st floor elevator, Building 11
  • Main hallway, Building 10
  • Main Hallway PAC Center  
  • Outside the Library 2nd floor (Cover the Marketplace area/strategically placed)
  • Gillman Lounge
  • Exterior of Health Services Room 3-165
