You Grow Girl!

Aloe there!

Welcome to another installment of You Grow Girl, brought to you by the Wellness Council.

Come plant, eat and connect with fellow colleagues.

Who:

  • You; all are welcome.

What:

  • Plant: Succulents! Pick your favorite and transplant them into a pot.
  • Eat: Succulent shrimp, chicken, veggies, humus, salad & brownies.
  • Connect: Build community with your fellow colleagues.

Where:

  • Brighton Campus: Monroe A (adjacent to cafeteria)
  • Downtown Campus: High Falls Room

When:

  • Brighton Campus: This Wednesday, Sept. 20th, 12 to 1:30 pm
  • Downtown Campus: Wednesday, Sept. 27th, 12 to 1:30 pm

Stop by anytime between 12 noon and 1:30 pm. This will be casual, drop on in!

Why:

  • Plant: Succulents are low-maintenance plants and do well in high elevations. This is good news for everyone on the 3rd floor and up.
  • Eat: Succulents have sap-filled leaves to keep them alive in harsh climates, you do not, come eat some food.
  • Connect: Feeling more disconnected than logging into Banner 9? Feel less aloe-n and join us.

How:

  • RSVP online, and make a friend RSVP. Don't have a friend? Meet (or plant) one here!

Succulent Fun Fact: The word succulent comes from the Latin word “sucus”, which means, don’t be one of those “sucus” that misses this free event :)

Come drop in and join us!
