Veterans Appreciation Week Activities

It is with our deepest gratitude that MCC would like to thank our veterans, service members, and their families for serving our nation. Their selfless service has defended our democracy, and we honor them and the legacy they leave for future generations.

The following events and professional development opportunities are part of Veterans Appreciation week this year, and I encourage you to attend to honor the service and sacrifice of our student-veterans, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Thursday, November 9

STARS Session 1 – Military Culture & STARS Session 2 – Transition to Civilian and Academic Culture
12:00pm to 1:00pm in PRISM Multicultural Center (1-108)

Friday, November 10

Veterans Day Ceremony
12:00 to 12:30pm at the MCC Veterans Memorial
(located in the courtyard between the Library and Building 7)
*If weather necessitates, the event will held in the South Atrium of Building 11

Monday, November 13

Dear Sirs Documentary Screening
6:00 to 8:00pm in The Forum (Building 3)
This event is a collaboration between the MCC Vet Club and Compeer CORPS
