Institute for the Humanities Sponsors Panel on Artificial Intelligence

The Institute for the Humanities at Monroe Community College will host a panel of faculty members from the Rochester Institute of Technology College of Art and Design, speaking on Artificial Intelligence in Design.

  •  April 17 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, (Room 5-300).

The panelists, listed below, will discuss their use of AI in conceptualization, creation, and production in film, animation, games, and advertising.

  • Shaun Foster, Professor and Program Director, 3D Digital Design
  • Alex Lobos, Professor and Director, School of Design
  • Ihab Mardini, Assistant Professor, 3D Digital Design
  • Juan Noguera, Assistant Professor, Industrial Design

These panelists are leaders in the academic study of design and deployment of their work in entertainment, education, and the workplace. The bring expertise in graphics, interactive educational design, emotional design, sustainability, animation, and gaming.
