LibKey Nomad: Fast Access to Paywalled Scholarly Academic Articles

Have you or your students ever come across the perfect article on a publisher's website, Pubmed, or Wikipedia, only to be asked to pay $ 35 or more to access it? LibKey Nomad can help!

What is LibKey Nomad? LibKey Nomad is a web browser extension that avoids paywalls and quickly connects you to full-text articles available on open-access publisher websites and in MCC Libraries’ databases.

Installing LibKeyNomad:

  1. Visit the LibKey Nomad website. 
  2. Click on the icon for your preferred browser and follow the prompts to add the extension.
  3. Select Monroe Community College as your institution.
  4. Keep an eye out for the LibKey Nomad button when browsing websites with article information!
