Update on Interim AVP of Academic Affairs and AVP Searches

Good morning. It is my pleasure to announce that Kelsey Bright will assume the position of interim Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs, the position formerly held by Kimberley Collins. This position will be integral to providing a critical role in operations in the division of Academic and Student Affairs, primarily related to the master schedule, academic policy, curriculum, academic staffing, contractual interpretation, and working as liaison to the Provost/Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. Kelsey brings the ideal background and talent to the interim position and will help shape the future of the division. Please welcome her to her new role!

The positions of Associate Vice President of Student Development and Associate Vice President of Student Success and Strategic Initiatives are posted. The searches will remain open until filled, but review of applicants will begin at the end of May. Search committees have been formed and are ready to assume the very important work of screening and recommending candidates.

If you have any questions related to the ongoing work of reorganizing Academic and Student Affairs, please let me know.

Margaret Semmer
