SUNY General Education Transition - A.A.S. Programs due Fall 2024

I know some Faculty are already working on Curriculum Proposals for A.A.S. Programs. All Career Programs need to be compliant with New SUNY General Education for Fall 2024.

Please remember that if your changes trigger a need for re-registration, it would be ideal to have your proposal submitted no later than early October and approved by Faculty Senate by November or December so that in January and February the Curriculum Office can work with SUNY and SED to get programs re-registered.

Examples of changes that trigger the need for re-registration include twenty percent content change since the last registration, title change, and elimination or addition of tracks. In most cases, any change to a licensure-qualifying program will trigger the need for re-registration, so all licensure-qualifying programs should prioritize submission of their respective program revisions.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

View all proposals by status.
