Action for Happiness Weeks 4 and 5

October is here and the days are flush with brilliant colors, amazing pumpkins, delicious apples, and crisp air that is perfect for outdoor activities.  Here are some suggested actions for creating more happiness to enjoy October’s seasonal treats:

Tips for Weeks 4 and 5: October 23 to October 31

  • 10/23: Share an important goal with someone you trust.
  • 10/24: Take time to reflect on what you have accomplished recently.
  • 10/25: Avoid blaming yourself or others. Find a helpful way forward.
  • 10/26: Look out for positive news and reasons to be cheerful today.
  • 10/27: Ask for help to overcome an obstacle you are facing.
  • 10/28: Do something constructive to improve a difficult situation.
  • 10/29: Thank yourself for achieving the things you often take for granted.
  • 10/30: Identify three things that give you hope for the future.
  • 10/31: Set a goal that brings a sense of purpose for the coming month.
