National Nutrition Month Event Today

March is recognized as National Nutrition Month. This is a great opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of making informed food choices and developing healthy eating habits. This year’s theme is “Look Beyond the Table”. Our food choices can make an impact on our health as well as our environment. To highlight this important topic, the Counseling Center, Disability & Health Services Department has team up with a Nutrition Educator from Cornell Cooperative Extension to offer a fun, tasty and informative tabling event today. This event is an opportunity to learn more about the ways that we eat beyond the dinner table, such as in schools, restaurants and events and how we can make mindful choices when eating in various settings. You will also learn more about the sustainability of our food system and ways that we can make better food choices to help reduce waste. There will be giveaways, food samples and more. We hope to see you there!

Time: 11:30am to 1:00pm

Location: Brighton Campus Terrace
