The Breakfast Buzz Coming to MCC for Women's History Month

As part of Women's History Month, Sandy Waters, co-host of The Breakfast Buzz with Spezzano and Sandy morning show on 98.9 The Buzz, will be on the Brighton Campus to speak with the MCC Community:

  • Wednesday, March 20, 2024
  • 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
  • The PRISM Multicultural Center

Waters is a past winner of the "Best Radio Personality (Female)" category in City Newspaper's "Best of Rochester" awards. Since graduating from SUNY Brockport, she has co-hosted with Scott Spezzano for 25 years, making it one of the nation's longest-running morning show teams. Waters also hosts the Spezzano & Sandy's STARTUP podcast.

Waters recently posted "When I first started my career in radio at 19, it was often described as a 'boys club,' with women feeling threatened by each other. But today, I'm inspired by the change. Young women exude confidence and embrace self-promotion fearlessly. Here's to progress and empowering each other this Women's Day!"

This event is free and open to the MCC Community. Light refreshments will be provided.
