Reminder: Career Programs - Please be mindful that A.A.S. Programs are due to meet New SUNY General Education requirements for Fall 2024. Many departments have completed their work or have made significant progress in the approval process. Thank you for your efforts!
If your department has not yet begun a Program Revision or working through some final aspects, please try to get proposals submitted by the end of February (so they have opportunity to make it through the approval steps in time for Fall 2024). As the College prepares for a Middle States visit in 2025-26, programs will have to demonstrate that they comply with the current SUNY GE framework. Additionally, since some of our Career Program students eventually transfer, updating to the new general education framework ensures they won't be unnecessarily harmed in transfer.
