The Week Ahead

The office of Student Life & Leadership Development presents the following events for next week (please share with students):

Wellness Fair

  • Monday, March 25th, 12:00 pm  to 1:00pm, Downtown Campus 2nd Floor Lounge

Join Student Life and Leadership Development, Title IX, and Counseling and Disability Services for a holistic wellness fair with different vendors and community resources. Refreshments will be served.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

  • Tuesday, March 26th, 7:00pm to  9:00pm, Canal Hall Lobby & Field

Join First Year Experience, Residence Life, and the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development for an adult egg hunt. Enjoy egg decorating, food, and a chance to win great prizes! Visit www.monroecc.edu/go/fye to register for the event by clicking on the events tab.

Emerging Leaders Event:

  • Wednesday, March 27th, 11:30am to 1:00pm, Brighton Campus DWIGHT (3-125)

All student leaders are strongly encouraged to recruit at least one future student leader. Use the Emerging Leaders Nomination form to recognize a student who you believe would be a great officer for your club or organization next year. Please join Student Life and Leadership to celebrate our Emerging Leaders at the ceremony above. Delicious pasta meal will be served!

Easter Event:

  • Wednesday, March 27th, 12:00pm to 1:30pm, Brighton Campus Center Terrace

Join Campus One80 and Campus Activities Board for an Easter celebration of worship, song, and food.

Take Back the Night:

  • Wednesday, March 27th, 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Brighton Campus Monroe A/B (3-205)

Join Student Life and Leadership Development, Title IX, and Counseling and Disability Services for Take Back the Night. An event focused on shattering the silence of sexual assault on campus. Join us for guest speakers, community resources, food, and a march to empower students on campus to take back the night and end sexual assault on campus.

Other News:

  • Tax Help on Campus: The Department of Taxation and Finance will be on campus to help students get in person tax help and file for free. Help will be available every other Monday (3/26 on Brighton Campus) on both campuses from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Students must pre-register for an appointment at pre-register for an appointment at www.tax.ny.gov/tap/
  • Many of our student leaders will be travelling to New York City for Model UN representing Mongolia! Wishing them all of the best on this trip.
