Voluntary Retirement Incentive Plan

At the August 7, 2023, Board of Trustees meeting, the Board authorized President Burt-Nanna to take the necessary steps to plan and implement a 2023-24 Voluntary Retirement Incentive Plan (VRIP) for full-time faculty teaching positions as the next step to right-sizing fiscal operations and reducing structural operating deficits.

Additional information regarding the plan will be available in the coming weeks, as well as an FAQ that should be able to address questions that may arise. At this time we can confirm that there will be an eligibility criterion, it will not be a “first come, first served” approach to the application process, and there will be sufficient time for those eligible to make an assessment on whether they choose to participate.
