Scheduled Power Outage for Brighton Campus During Winter Break

Facilities is planning to complete critical deferred maintenance on the electrical substations at the Brighton Campus on Tuesday, December 26th. This will impact the entire campus. Power will be turned off for 8 to 12 hours, beginning at 7am. Areas served by emergency generators will have power to critical systems. (Tribune Hall will have auxiliary power for 12 month residents.)

We strongly suggest that you shut off all computers and sensitive electronic equipment before you leave.

If issues arise that delay the completion of the repairs, power will be restored Tuesday evening and another shutdown will take place on Wednesday, December 27th.
