The Application Deadline to Apply for Fall 2024 Health-Related Programs is Today!

This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to apply for the fall 2024 health-related programs is Today, January 31st, 2024. The programs include Nursing, Surgical Technology, Radiologic Technology, Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, and Clinical Laboratory Technician. Please see below for additional details.

Before Applying

  • Students should review the 2024 admission requirements and selection process for the program they are applying to.
  • Applicants must meet ALL admission requirements at the time of application for consideration.
  • Students who are still taking quality point classes can apply, but points are only awarded for classes that are completed by the application deadline.
  • Students can only apply to one program.

How to Apply

  • Current students can sign into their myMCC account and click on the Student Home or Academic Plan tile, then select the Change Major link.
  • Select Fall 2024. Then choose the program from the drop-down menu and submit the request. That’s it! The major change request serves as the application.
  • Please note: Current students who will be graduating with another MCC degree at the end of this semester, as well as students who are not currently attending, should apply/reapply through the Admissions Office via MCC’s online application.

After Applying

  • Students will receive an email confirmation of the major change request. There is also a link in the Student Records menu that says Major Change Request Status that will give students a history of what major changes they’ve submitted and their status.
  • Admission decisions are made by March 15th.
  • Decisions and information will be communicated via MCC email. Students should also make sure their phone number on record is correct in case we need to reach out by phone.

Questions can be directed to assigned advisors (advisor information is listed in Degree Works). Best wishes for a successful spring semester!
