Discover a valuable resource that can boost your students’ academic success—personalized research help from our dedicated librarians.

We know that faculty members are juggling busy schedules while remaining committed to guiding their students through various research assignments, from lengthy papers to journal article summaries.

Research Help Appointments: Share the link to our Research Help Appointment Scheduling Form (https://monroecc.libcal.com/appointments) with your students. Encouraging them to schedule an appointment with a librarian can significantly enhance their research experience. This form lets students choose their appointment location (Brighton Campus, Downtown Campus, or online) and select their preferred librarian.

The impact of our research help appointments is evident:

  • 100% of students surveyed would recommend a research help appointment to a classmate.
  • 87% of students strongly agreed, and 12% agreed that they learned something new about research.
  • 73% of students strongly agreed, with an additional 23% agreeing that they felt more confident about conducting research.
