PSTF and Downtown Campus Communication to be Affected by March 9 Road Construction

Road construction along Scottsville Road this Saturday, March 9, will affect communication between the Brighton Campus and the Public Safety Training Facility (PSTF), and the Brighton Campus and the Downtown Campus. This impact will start at 6:00 a.m. Saturday and could extend up to 24 hours or 6:00 a.m. Sunday.  The cabling that runs along the roadway will be disconnected to allow for the construction.

At PSTF, Internet access and the Wi-Fi provided by MCC will be unavailable.  

At the Downtown Campus, the phones in classrooms or offices will be unavailable. 

Internet access at PSTF and phone services at the Downtown Campus are expected to recover on their own when the cable is reconnected.  For assistance Monday morning if you have a connection issue, please call the Employee Technology Support Center at (585) 292-8324 (TECH), option 3, Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 4:45 pm.
