TCC & Virtual Campus: Engage Students in Brightspace Discussions (Location Change)

The Teaching and Creativity Center would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming professional development session titled “Engage Students in Brightspace Discussions,” which is facilitated by the Virtual Campus. Please note that the session has been moved to the Virtual Campus (Building 3-150). We would greatly appreciate it if you could complete the complete the RSVP form  prior to the session. We look forward to seeing you on Zoom or in person.

Engage Students in Brightspace Discussions

Making discussions part of a course’s Brightspace shell gives students a chance to be active learners, teachers, and partners. Discussions can also leverage the best that online learning has to offer, connecting students who may otherwise never have met, and can bring out student voices that might not otherwise be heard. Bring your questions or experiences with discussions. Take away answers about discussions in Brightspace, faculty and Virtual Campus staff insights, and some best practices for creating discussions that truly engage your students!

Facilitators: Abby Bechtel, Andrea Gilbert, Jeremy Case, and Kate Robinson (Virtual Campus)
Date: March 26, 2024
Time: 12:20 PM to 1:20 PM
Where: Virtual Campus (Building 3-150) or join via Zoom
