Seminar Focused on Artificial Intelligence Held by the Mathematics Department

On Friday, March 1st, the Mathematics Department at MCC had the honor of hosting Dr. Ernest Fokue, a distinguished Professor from the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Fokue led an engaging seminar titled 'Artificial Intelligence: Strategies, and Challenges in an Evolving Educational Environment.' The event drew a substantial audience, including numerous faculty members from the Mathematics department, along with 25 esteemed high school math educators who also serve as College Now instructors.

The seminar delved into the realm of artificial intelligence and its potential applications within the mathematics classroom, offering insights into innovative strategies and addressing the challenges that come with integrating such technology. Dr. Fokue's expertise provided a comprehensive overview of how artificial intelligence can effectively complement traditional teaching methods, enriching student learning experiences.
