Virtual Campus December Support Hours

As we approach the final few weeks of the semester, the Virtual Campus team is here to support you in a variety of ways! We will primarily offer support through our regular Zoom drop-in room using our Zoom Link during the scheduled times but have added a few special options to help you with the Brightspace gradebook: 

  • December 11 to 15: Look for our "5 Days of Gradebook" series in the MCC Tribune during this week to provide support through our mini-gradebook training videos for quick tips. 
  • December 18: Please consider attending our Gradebook Check Up training session at 3:15 pm using our regular Zoom Link.
  • December 19: We have added a special in-person drop-in session from 11 am-1 pm in the Virtual Campus Training Room (3-122) on the Brighton Campus. 
  • December 20: We have created a special appointment-only sign-up if you would like to schedule an individual in-person or Zoom appointment with one of our team members: Gradebook Appointment Request

Week of 11/27 through 12/1: 

  • Monday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Tuesday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Wednesday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Thursday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Friday: 10 am to noon

Week of 12/4 through 12/8: 

  • Monday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Tuesday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm 
  • Wednesday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Thursday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Friday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm

Week of 12/11 through 12/15: 

  • Monday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Tuesday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Wednesday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Thursday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Friday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm

Week of 12/18 through 12/22: 

  • Monday: 10 am to noon, No afternoon support, but consider attending the Gradebook Check Up Session at 3:15 pm
  • Tuesday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm, Consider using our in-person drop-in from 11 am to 1 pm in the Virtual Campus Training Room
  • Wednesday: By appointment only for gradebook
  • Thursday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm
  • Friday: 10 am to noon, 1 to 3 pm

Week of 12/25 through 1/1: 

  • Our office is closed for Winter Break, and no support is available during this time. Please plan accordingly. 
  • Please call the SUNY Help Desk for support during this week if you need assistance with Brightspace: 1-844-673-6786

Other End of the Semester Reminders:

  • Intersession and Spring 2024 course shells in Brightspace are available. We encourage you to copy your materials and begin the clean-up process so students do not see confusing dates or old messages when they first view your course.
  • The preview week for Intersession courses begins 12/26 and 1/15 for Spring courses. 
  • If you elect to merge your course sections, please make your requests as soon as you are able to before the deadlines (12/20 for Intersession and 1/10 for Spring). You can find our request merge form in the VC Faculty Center. 
  • Visit our Semester Startup and Copy Content materials in the VC Faculty Center for tips on making the transition from one semester to another easier.
