Save the Date: On May 1, 2024 the Library will host the Scholars' Day Celebration of Learning

Please save the date for our upcoming Scholars’ Day Celebration of Learning. This academic year’s event will take place before the Scholars’ Day keynote speaker:

  • Scholars’ Day Celebration of Learning 
  • May 1, 2024, 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. 
  • LeRoy V. Good Library at the Brighton Campus 

The Celebration of Learning expands the excitement and passion for learning from Scholars’ Day to every MCC student. We hope you’ll join us by extending an invitation to your students to participate.

Modeled after a traditional science fair, this event offers a platform for each student to share their work with a supportive and encouraging audience. Students are free to showcase their projects in various formats, such as posters, PowerPoints, artwork, essays, etc., allowing members of the MCC community to explore the library and learn about the diverse array of learning taking place at MCC. 

Have a student project that you think would be a great fit? Encourage them to join us. Interested in showcasing your students but not sure how to get involved? Feel free to email us with questions share the scholars-day/celebration-of-learning applicaton to join us with your students.
