Scholarship Opportunities

The Law and Criminal Justice Department is offering several scholarships worth up to $1000 to Criminal Justice and Paralegal Majors who meet specific criteria.  These scholarships are now open for submissions.  To apply go on-line and register at:

www.monroecc.edu/go/scholarships

Once you complete and submit the general application, apply to the recommended opportunities you are eligible for, including the CRJ/PLS scholarships.  Many of you will likely be eligible for scholarships other than just CRJ/PLS.  Our essay question is already set and will be given to you once they register and access the CRJ/PLS scholarships.  You submit your essay on-line.  After the closing date full-time CRJ/PLS faculty will review the submissions and decide to whom the awards will be given.  The closing date for submissions is October 31.  The Aid in the CRJ Legal Learning Resource Center, room 338, can assist students in getting to the website, completing the registration information, and accessing and submitting the various scholarships.
