Temporary Night Cleaning Change

Now that the new campus is ready to be occupied, we have to prepare it for the new arrivals beginning today. Temporarily, we will be reassigning some staff (about a third), to the downtown campus to prepare it for the move. A night crew will be starting this Thursday to wash and apply 3 coats of wax to the hallways to provide a protective coating during the move. After the move, the wax will be cleaned and buffed to provide another like-new finish. At the same time, another team will be applying grout sealer to all the tile joints in the bathrooms. This will reduce stains that are hard to remove from grout joints. We expect the work to take 7 days. During this time, we will be operating with a reduced staff on the main campus, ATC, and 1057. We will be concentrating on bathrooms and trash during this time. Vacuuming and mopping may slip a bit until we return to full strength. After the first of June, we will be able to hire the new staff for the Downtown campus and all will return to .....Normal? We can only hope.
